What's needed for a
successful program?
|
W&M conducts at least quarterly surveillance testing for all B100 imported into and produced in the state. Tests required are noted below and include Cold Soak Filtration. B5, based on capacity produced in the state, is currently mandated except for railroad locomotive, marine engines, and heating oil applications.

Dispenser Labeling
|
Up to B5 may be sold as diesel except within the city limits of Portland must state B5 on dispensers. Product transfer documents must state percentage of biodiesel for 2% or more. B6-B20 may be sold as Bxx Biodiesel Blend where xx is the actual percentage or indicate the range is between 5% and 20% or use the FTC labeling. For biodiesel blends greater than B20, the actual percentage must be displayed such as Bxx Biodiesel Blend where xx is the percentage of biodiesel and a label which states; “Consult Vehicle Manufacturers Fuel Recommendation”. |
