  What's needed for a
successful program?
The Idaho statutes indicate that fuel quality must meet the latest ASTM specifications. The code must be modified to indicate the latest standards each year. The IDA will be changing these codes shortly will solicit comments from the NBB for these changes.

Title 37, Chapter 25 of the Odaho Code: Oils http://www.agri.idaho.gov/Categories/WeightsMeasures/wmOverview.php Quality Standards. The standards of quality for motor gasoline, benzine, naphtha, grease, road oil, bituminous road products, fuel oil for heating purposes and diesel fuel shall be the latest specifications adopted by the American Society for Testing and Materials or other specifications adopted as standard by an Idaho governmental agency for its use, for those products.

  If no spec - plan to adopt Since the new ASTM biodiesel specifications were published in October, 2008 then the new B100/99, B5 and B6-20 specs will need to be approved by the rulemaking process before they become legally effective in ~ February 2009.
